Review by hotel critic
During my recent Easter escape to Villa Cattani Stuart, the serenity of its lush surroundings was absolutely enchanting. Nestled atop a hillside and surrounded by olive trees and well-maintained Italian gardens, it provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of Pesaro. The clean and spacious rooms were a delight, each equipped with modern amenities, allowing for a peaceful retreat after our day trips. We were particularly taken by the charming owner’s guided tour through the historical villa, where stunning frescoes by Niccoló Berrettoni transported us to another time; it's a must-see! The expansive swimming pool area offered breathtaking views of the valley and was impeccably kept, creating a calming oasis for unwinding. Breakfast was a highlight—so many fresh, high-quality choices! While the self-serve coffee was nice, I relished ordering a freshly brewed Italian espresso. With the nearby trattoria serving delicious local fare, it was easy to indulge in the region's culinary delights. This hidden gem of a hotel perfectly weaved together relaxation, history, and Italian charm, making it an unforgettable stay that I’d love to share with friends on future visits!
